Ranked 7th in the Financial Intermediation Sector of Business World's Top 1000 Corporations for posting an impressive 200.27% Net Income growth for 1996.

1998

Implemented a full online operation through General Insurance System (GIS)

1999

Launched Gawa Agad - a new concept in motor car insurance claims that highly improves claims processing time by authorizing select repair shops to perform claims administration

Certified to ISO 9002

Increased capital from 50 Million to 100 Million

2000

Launched Customer Service Center

2001

Hit the 1 Billion mark in sales

Launched the first company website, www.ucpbgen.com.  The site qualified as a semifinalist in the 4th Philippine Web Awards.

2002

Achieved ISO 9002 certification for all its offices nationwide.

Increased capital from 100 Million to 200 Million

2003

First company in the non-life insurance industry to be certified with ISO 9001-2000

Implemented online claims evaluation which allowed for real-time delivery and approval of repair evaluation as well as faster claim processing

2004

Increased capital from 300 Million to 400 Million

Received the BIR Super Grower Award (CY2003)

2005

Awarded the "Best Non-Life Insurance Company" by the Consumers Union of the Philippines (CUP) and the National Product Quality Excellence Awards (NPQEA)

2010

First in the non-life insurance industry to convert its ISO 9001:2000 certification to ISO 9001-2008

Launched its official tagline "At UCPB GEN, every day starts with Ü" to represent the Company's commitment of service excellence to its customers

2012

Hit the 2 Billion mark in premiums

2013

Celebrated its 50th year in the non-life insurance industry.

Increased capital from 400 Million to 500 Million

Adopted Magilas, a Philippine eagle from the Philippine Eagle Foundation

2016

Re-launched corporate website with better features and e-commerce capabilities

Moved UCPB GEN Head Office to its home at the One Corporate Center in Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Achieved 111 Million Net Income, its first to hit the 100 Million mark in Net Income

Posted highest Net Income of 115 Million

Launched Kasambahay Protect - it's very first microinsurance product
