For the second straight year, Cocogen Insurance, Inc. remained as the official insurance partner of Zamboanga Valientes Basketball Team for 2025. Cocogen and Zamboanga Valientes made the partnership official after the signing of the sponsorship agreement held at the Cocogen Head Office in Pasig City, January 13. 

Team Owner Junnie Navarro, Team Manager Neil Makasiar, and partner Trevor Crewe were present during the contract signing together with some of the players in the team roster including UAAP champions including Malick Diouf from University of the Philippines, Forthsky Padrigao of Ateneo De Manila University and University of Sto. Tomas, and Mike Tolomia from Far Eastern University, who are now geared to leave their mark on the international stage. 

Meanwhile, Cocogen representatives led by Atty. Paolo Somera, First Vice President for Corporate Finance and Strategy Division, and Kevin Edward Culla, Marketing Manager inked the contract on the company’s behalf. 

Under the leadership of Navarro and driven by the team’s resilience and passion, they aim to soar to new heights and continue inspiring Zamboangueño athletes.   

Following their victory at the Asian Tournament as the Grand Champion in August 2024, the team is now preparing for the upcoming Dubai International Basketball League from January 24 to February 2.
