Cocogen, Klook Win Social Media Initiative of the Year at Insurance Asia Awards ’25
In 2024, Cocogen Insurance, Inc. collaborated with Klook Philippines to launch the Annyeong Coco: South Korea Travel Campaign. Months after the successful trip, it earned the Social Media Initiative of the Year Award for the Philippines from Insurance Asia.
First Vice President for Corporate Finance and Strategy Division, Atty. Paolo S. Somera, and Marketing Manager, Kevin Edward L. Culla received the award at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore, July 8.
Cocogen launched the campaign focusing on the Korean Pop Culture segment which allowed Cocogen to create a defined and impactful marketing campaign. The project was designed to capitalize on the influence of Korean Pop Culture among Filipino consumers.
The primary objective of the campaign is to promote Cocogen’s International Travel Excel Plus insurance by reaching the expansive Korean fanbase in the Philippines through a targeted social media promotion and a creative approach to customer engagement.
With Klook’s established presence and credibility, the campaign helped Cocogen increase brand awareness, aiming to expand the number of people interacting with its content on different social media platforms.
As Cocogen continues to innovate in the digital age, this recognition serves as a reminder of the influence that well-considered, skillfully executed campaigns can have, not just on brand awareness but also on the lives of people they touch.
